Adding POP3 eMails To Your Gmail Account

Prerequisite: The email accounts you'd like to fetch from must support POP access and, in the case of Gmail addresses, have POP access enabled.

Today most people (like myself) have many different e-mail accounts that they have created at some point in time. From time to time we feel the need to centralise these accounts into a single account and have a single access point. Here is a step by step explanation on how you can do it using your Gmail acount:

1-Login to your Gmail account
2-Click the gear icon in the top right, click “Settings”

3-In the screen that opens click “Accounts”
4-Click “Add a POP3 mail account you own”
5-A new window opens. Enter the e-mail address that you want to fetch your e-mails from
6-Next Step
7-Enter Username, Password and Pop Server values in the screen that opens. Leave the port value at 110
8-Click “Add account”

Now you should be ready to fetch the e-mails from your other e-mail account into your Gmail account.
You can repeat these steps to add more POP3 accounts to your Gmail account.

Hope this helps someone.

Good luck,
Serdar.
